12. Applications

Seamless access to integrated AeroGCS tools for enhanced mission planning and drone operations

The Applications module in AeroGCS Enterprise serves as a centralised launch point for accessing integrated tools within the AeroGCS ecosystem. These applications extend the capabilities of the platform by offering domain-specific functionalities such as agricultural planning, revenue tracking, and drone lease management. Each application is embedded into the enterprise workflow, allowing teams to transition between mission execution, data monitoring, and business operations without leaving the AeroGCS Enterprise environment.

Currently, two primary applications are available:

  • AeroGCS GREEN – A comprehensive solution for agriculture-focused drone missions, including spraying, seeding, acreage monitoring, and customer/crop analytics.
  • AeroGCS Lease – A dedicated module for drone lease operations, customer tracking, asset billing, and commercial management.

💡 Tip: Use the Applications module to navigate quickly between core enterprise functions and specialised operational tools, ensuring continuity across your drone workflows.

12.1 Introduction

The Applications section of AeroGCS Enterprise provides a unified interface to access additional AeroGCS family applications that support specific operational use cases. Whether you are managing agricultural data or overseeing lease contracts, this module brings critical tools under one integrated environment.

When a user selects Applications from the left-hand navigation menu, two application tiles are displayed:

  • GREEN
  • LEASE

Each tile represents a functional pathway to a companion application. Selecting either option opens its respective interface within the AeroGCS Enterprise platform, with all user and organisation data synchronised seamlessly.

This integrated design ensures that projects, customer data, operational plans, and revenue metrics remain consistent across tools—eliminating the need for repetitive data entry or context switching between systems.

⚠️ Note: Users must be logged into AeroGCS GREEN or AeroGCS Lease using the same credentials as their AeroGCS Enterprise account to ensure smooth data sync and access.

💡 Tip: The Applications module is ideal for enterprise users who need to extend drone-related workflows beyond planning and monitoring—into specialised domains like agriculture or asset leasing.

12.5 Best Practices

Recommendations for optimising usage of AeroGCS GREEN and AeroGCS Lease via the Applications module

To ensure a smooth and efficient experience while working with AeroGCS GREEN and AeroGCS Lease through the AeroGCS Enterprise platform, the following best practices are recommended for users, managers, and enterprise administrators.

 System Access and User Roles

  • Always log in using your AeroGCS Enterprise credentials to maintain a unified session across GREEN and Lease applications.
  • Ensure that appropriate access roles are assigned to users based on their responsibilities (e.g., pilot, lease manager, planner).
  • Avoid sharing login credentials to maintain data integrity and audit traceability.
Data Synchronisation

– Regularly sync data between AeroGCS Enterprise, GREEN, and Lease—especially after:

  • Adding new customers or drones
  • Updating lease agreements
  • Completing missions or uploading field data

– Use a stable internet connection during sync operations to prevent partial data transfer or sync conflicts.

Project and Lease Coordination

– When designing mission plans in Enterprise → Projects, ensure that:

  • The correct customer is linked
  • Field boundaries and tasks match seasonal objectives

– When leasing drones, verify drone availability in the Drones section before assignment to prevent operational overlaps.

Data Accuracy and Validation

– Enter complete and valid data when creating:

  • Customers (Name, ID, Licence, GST)
  • Leases (Start/End dates, drone selection)
  • Seasons in GREEN (for accurate analytics)

– Review form validations and system prompts to prevent errors during saving or submission.

Monitoring and Reporting

– Regularly monitor:

  • GREEN Reports for field-level insights (e.g., crop types, spray volume, revenue trends)
  • Lease Dashboards for payment tracking and asset utilisation

– Use the custom date range filters in Reports to generate insights for financial reporting, audits, or client reviews.

Record Management

  • Periodically clean up expired leases, unused customer entries, and outdated drone records to keep data relevant and reduce clutter.
  • Use the three-dot menu options to delete records safely where applicable.

💡 Tip: Set a periodic review schedule (weekly/monthly) to check sync status, customer data completeness, and financial summaries across GREEN and Lease.

⚠️ Note: Deleted records cannot be recovered. Ensure critical data is backed up or downloaded before removal.
