AeroGCS Global Competition 2.0 - Guidelines and Terms & Conditions

1. About the Competition:

The AeroGCS Global Competition, hosted by PDRL, is a unique event targeting over 1,000 participants. It consists of three rounds:

• Round 1 (Online): December 14th, 2024. Participants must prepare using the resources provided under the Round 1 syllabus.

• Round 2 (Online): January 4th, 2025. Participants must prepare using the resources provided under the Round 2 syllabus.

• Round 3 (Offline/On-Field): January 25th, 2025. This hands-on round involves planning and executing on-field drone missions using AeroGCS GREEN, AeroGCS Enterprise, and AeroGCS Config. Participants must prepare with the resources provided under the Round 3 syllabus.

2. Admission Rights:

PDRL reserves the right to grant or deny admission.

3. Rounds and Qualification:

• Round 1 : A minimum of 34 marks is required to qualify for Round 2.

• Round 2 : A minimum of 34 marks is required to qualify for Round 3.

• Round 3 : Participants must successfully plan and execute on-field drone missions using the specified AeroGCS tools.

4. Payment and Refunds:

Participation is confirmed upon receipt of payment from the candidate. No refunds will be issued.

5. Invoice and Receipts:

Upon successful payment, participants will receive an invoice and receipt via their registered email.

6. Competition Updates:

All updates will be sent to participants' registered email addresses.

7. Travel and Accommodation (Round 3 Participants):

a) Participants must arrive in Hyderabad by January 24th and depart by January 25th, 2025.

b) PDRL will provide flight tickets for Round 3 participants. If unavailable, 2nd or 3rd-tier railway tickets will be offered. Local travel costs are the participant’s responsibility.

c) Accommodation will be provided in 3-star hotels in Hyderabad, with food included. Two participants will share a room.

d) Transportation between the hotel and the competition venue will be arranged by PDRL.

e) Travel insurance for the flight will be provided by PDRL. Participants are responsible for any additional insurance.

f) AeroGCS-branded T-shirts will be provided to all Round 3 participants on the day of the competition. Other clothing is the participant's responsibility.

g) International participants will receive similar travel and accommodation arrangements as above.

8. Rewards and Recognition:

An awards ceremony will be held following the successful completion of Round 3. Note that TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) will be applied to cash prizes.
